Across the road from where I live the trees are being vandalised, their branches being ripped, their leaves torn. I decided to take some action.

As his windows look directly onto the damage, I approached my neighbour across the street, for as I said to him his children needed the trees, would he like to be part of a co-operative to tree watch?

I realised the full truth of what he was saying & how important it was. As a child this man had quite literally, "NOT BEEN INTO TREES", & the likelihood if his children being "INTO TREES", was remote.

I spent hours up an apple tree,
when I was still a kid
But I knew too many people
who never did,
EVERYBODY needs to have a tree
everybody needs to have a tree.
theres a tree for every kind
you can imagine in your mind
And everybody needs to have a tree.

Everybody needs to SEE a TREE,
every body needs to see a tree,
the troubles of the day
simply seem to fade away
if you sit a bit – just looking –at a tree.

Everybody needs to save a tree,

our children will survive
while the forests are still alive,
so everybody needs to save a tree.
( remember , a newly planted tree is still a baby, & needs plenty of input. it will be years before it can give back the same benefits of a mature tree or the biomass.)

GAIA will forgive
and the human race will live,

(still trees are dying & being killed all over the planet in numbers too huge to fully grasp the full impact.)
